HIGHLIGHTS:
- Hike through a lush cloud forest filled with waterfalls, wildlife, and over 700 species of birds. The northwest of the province of Pichincha is a known paradise for bird watching.
- Pedal through the beautiful vegetation of the cloud forest full of orchids and bromeliads.
- Descend 800 vertical meters towards an active boiler crossed by zero latitude.
- Enjoy picturesque views of the highlands and unique geological formations.
- The Rio Blanco is home to the best rafting run in Ecuador’s western Andes, with scenery and rapids on par with its Amazonian neighbors.
- In these adventure activities we can see the ecosystem around us change from high grasslands to montane cloud forests. This is one of the most biodiverse places on earth, since here species from the Amazon, the Chocó rainforest and the Andes converge.
